WRITING SYSTEMS: Focused on how to configure phonetic/academic orthography and language-based orthography. Includes how to insert special characters and some information about keyboards.

LEXICON: Focused on other features within the Lexicon menu. This includes bulk edit (bulk copying of fields, bulk replacement), and reversal indices (entering reversal entries, using reversal indices for your dictionary).

TEXTS & WORDS: Focused on using these features in Texts & Words for analysis. This includes concordance, morpheme analysis (breaking down words into morphemes in interlinear texts) [more?]

GRAMMAR, NOTEBOOK, and LISTS: Focused on exploring the other three menus in FLEx. Building a simple grammar, such as inputting phonemes and rules, using the notebook menu as scratch paper and using Lists to generate thematic word lists.
