Personal Well-Being in Minority Language Communities

Given that many minority language communities are in more isolated settings, with different physical infrastructure and cultural norms than those of the researchers’ home environments, this workshop will address three issues that are key to mental and physical well-being while in a community: culture shock, health preparedness, and gender and sexuality.
