Teaching an Indigenous Language

Hishinlai' Peter

Teaching an Indigenous language involves the use of second language acquisition theories and its application through praxis. In this workshop, the pairing of a language instructor and a language learner of an Athabascan language will be chronicled through the lens of what occurs in a university Indigenous language classroom.
