Advanced techniques for shooting in the field and editing with Final Cut Pro. Participants will learn how to develop an "eye" when shooting and use "shortcuts" when editing.

Place: 267 Knight Library (Cinema Studies lab)
Description
This course assumes you will make a video for the community whose language you are studying. Thus the focus is not only on documentation, but the creation of a documentary film. Participants will learn how to develop an "eye" when shooting and use "shortcuts" when editing in Final Cut Pro.
